Geolocation location services in Internet Explorer 11 causes the browser to freeze when navigating in the Service Portal Description If geolocation location services are active and the user allows the browser to use their location, the Service Portal will freeze the browser if the user attempts to navigate within the portal. The user cannot regain control of the tab and must open a new tab/window. Note that this only occurs in the Internet Explorer 11 browser and location services must be enabled.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Ensure windows location services are active on your system 2) Navigate to Service Portal > Service Portal Home 3) In the browser notification asking to allow use of your location, select: Allow Once 4) Click the Request Something link on the portal homepage 5) Observe the browser freezes and you are unable to continue

Workaround The location tracker can be disabled by adding the boolean system property glide.service_portal.disable_location_tracker and setting it to true .
