Steps to reproduce 1. hop to instance

2. from filter navigation, service catalog -> Maintain items

3. New a catalog item with name 'test01', submit

4. go into 'test01', under 'Variable Sets', click New

5. select 'Multi-Row Variable Set', them submit with name='test001', layout='2 Columns wide, Alternating sides'

6. go into variable set 'test001', add variable as below a, order=100, question/name=vtest01, type=Lookup Select Box, Lookup from Table=sys_user, Lookup value field=name b, order=200, question/name=vtest02, type=Lookup Select Box, Lookup from Table=sys_user, Lookup value field=name, input 'is_searchable_choice=true' into Variable attributes under 'Default Value' tab c, order=300, question/name=vtest03, type=Lookup Select Box, Lookup from Table=sys_user, Lookup value field=name d, order=400, question/name=vtest04, type=Lookup Select Box, Lookup from Table=sys_user, Lookup value field=name input 'is_searchable_choice=true' into Variable attributes under 'Default Value' tab

7. go back catalog item 'test01', try it

8. click 'Add' button, and view dropdown list of these 4 fields

Resolution/Fix

The variable attribute "is_searchable_choice=true" is not supported for the Lookup Select Box variable if this variable is a part of Multi-Row Variable Set.

So far it's decided as 'won't fix'

This UI attribute is not yet available in Workspace and this functionality has never been part of the workspace implementation. This has been marked as a product enhancement by our development team and this functionality is under consideration to be implemented in future releases.
