How to change the Survey or Survey Assessment Instance Due Date


While it is not possible to modify the Due Date of an already generated Assessment/Survey Instance, the ones that will be generated in the future can be modified following the steps below.

Release or Environment

All releases.


  1. Login to the instance with Admin role.
  2. Navigate to Surveys > View Survey
  3. Click on an existing survey eg: 'Service Desk Satisfaction Survey'
  4. Click on the UI Action 'Survey Designer' at the top-right of the screen.
  5. This should open the Survey in the Survey Designer; when it is open, click on the 'Configuration' tab in the middle and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  6. Notice the 'Duration' field, by default, this is set to 14 days, so Due Date would be 14 days from the date the Survey is triggered. 

This value can be modified to the days based on your requirements. When future Surveys get triggered, the new Duration will be used to calculate the Due Dates.
