We require a simple identifier technique to check if the CI record is currently updated Manually or by Discovery.InstructionsQuery to check if the existing CI record is manually updated or via Discovery History list log for that particular CI record will give us details of the update.Under the History Audit log there is a field called "User name"Username here can be used to identify if the update of record was manual or via discovery.If the update was made by Discovery then username will be " Mid Server username"If the update was done manually then notice the username of the user who was currently logged in to the instance while the record was being saved/updated Next Steps: Follow below steps to access the history log Navigate to the CI record of whose logs are to be checked.2. Find Additional action icon to the top left corner of the CI window next to CMDB CI name and Class. (Icon with 3 horizontal lines )3. Right click on that icon to find History option, click on it and select List ( Additional options => History => List )4. Click on list to have the history audit log opened for that particular CI where the username column to identify the mode of update is found.
