Use the following approaches to identify which of these tables are unused or inactive. To find custom tables that contain no records at all, refer to the community post listed in the Related Links section. That post includes a script that queries for custom tables with zero records. To identify custom tables that have records but have not been used recently, query the sys_db_object table where the name field starts with u_ or x_. This returns the list of custom tables. Then, within each of those resulting tables (not from the sys_db_object list itself), query for the most recent sys_updated_on record value to determine when data was last modified.
