Daily capacity is 8.25 hours from Monday to Thursday and 7 hours on Fridays. In certain summer weeks the capacity changes to 7.5 hours from Monday to Thursday. Since the allocation of operational plans is made based on the number of working days each month and not on the actual capacity of each day, mismatches are generated between capacity, allocation, and availability. To know if allocations can be done considering the actual daily capacity and not based on the number of working days?CauseAfter the default schedule was updated but the resource aggregates have not been updated.ResolutionFollow the below steps on your sub prod before applying it on prod.1. Update the resource aggregates for all the users2. Update "Calendar Event Duration (Minutes) (com.snc.resource_management.allocation_interval_minutes) " property from 60 to 15 (0.25 hours signifies 15 mins). Once this property is updated, system will try to allocate in terms of quarters than in hours.3. Update the resource aggregates once again.4. Update the resource capacity as well.
