Workspace alert lists do not refresh when using em_alert_lists_auto_refresh.list and do not freeze when a checkbox or preview is clicked


Alert lists on workspace do not freeze when a checkbox or preview is clicked.

A configured refresh record in em_alert_lists_auto_refresh.list for a workspace alert list will cause the list to not refresh at all.

Steps to Reproduce

Problem with the refresh on user action:
1. Navigate to the workspace alert list.
2. Mark checkbox.
3. Wait less than a minute, a refresh will clear the selection (might need to update some alert from outside workspace to get refresh updates) and the preview option shows endless loader.

Problem with the "All Alerts" list:
1. Navigate to the "All Alerts" list (this list is with empty filter in the Workspace).
2. The list will be refreshed non-stop even if the user clicked on the checkbox or did a scroll or any other user action.


This problem has been fixed. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.

The workaround for the refresh was to remove the configured refresh record for the workspace alert list in em_alert_lists_auto_refresh.list.

The workaround for the "All Alerts" list non-stop refreshing was:
 - Instead of using an empty filter for this list, add a condition for the filter which always returns true,.For example: "severity is anything".
 -  Enter "em_alert_lists_auto_refresh" table and add a record with "all alerts" list and with "enabled" column with the value: "false".
