If system property "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility" is turned off in New York, then "cannot see record" functionality/message is not getting displayed

Description

If system property "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility" is turned off in New York, then "cannot see record" functionality/message is not getting displayed

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set the property "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility" to true.
  2. Go to the incident table and open any record
  3. Type @<any_user_id> in the work_notes field.
  4. The system will show the user's name along with "Cannot see record" for qualified user records.
  5. The downside of this property is, it will enable extra impersonation event logs in the "sysevent" table which is confusing because there those user names may also come up who do not have impersonation rights.
  6. Now to rectify this issue, if you deactivate the property "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility", you lose the feature where the system tells if the user can see that particular record or not with the message "Cannot see record".

Expected behavior: "Cannot see record" should appear even when the property "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility" is false.
and Extra "sysevent" table logs "impersonation.start" and "impersonation.end" logs should not be captured when "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility" is true.

Actual behavior: "Cannot see record" message does not appear when the property "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility" is false.
and Extra "sysevent" table logs "impersonation.start" and "impersonation.end" logs gets captured when "glide.ui.mentions.check_record_visibility" is true.
