<h2>Discovery not setting value of CPU core count, CPU count, Disk space (GB),OS Domain fields on the CI Record.</h2><br/><div style="overflow-x:auto"><article><div ><h3 >Issue </h3><section><ul style="list-style-position: inside;"><li>In the new Orlando pattern-based discovery, for the windows 2019 servers specially and some other windows/Linux servers below fields are getting empty by discovery itself:-</li></ul> <ol style="list-style-position: inside;"><li>CPU core count</li><li>CPU count</li><li>Disk space (GB)</li><li>OS Domain</li><li>description</li></ol> <ul style="list-style-position: inside;"><li>We checked the input XML payload and found that those are returning empty. </li></ul></section></div><div ><h3 >Cause</h3><section><ul style="list-style-position: inside;"><li>Insufficient User permission to pull the required details.</li></ul></section></div><div ><h3 >Resolution</h3><section><ul style="list-style-position: inside;"><li>For the Windows 2019 servers, if the server being discovered with the credential applied on the <strong>ServiceNow MID Server</strong> service? then the Pattern-based discovery for Windows patterns may not be able to populate all fields of the device.</li><li>A workaround to resolve the fields not populating is to apply the same Windows Credential to both <strong>ServiceNow MID Server</strong> service and the <strong>ServiceNow WMI Collector</strong> service.
