Users being granted the approving role cannot approve articles that where submitted prior to them being granted the role.Issue It appears that the approvers for an article are set when the article is submitted based on the users with the specified roles at that time of submit, and that users who are granted the role after a article is submitted cannot approve.CauseExpected behaviorResolutionThe approval process is based off of the associated workflow. Once the workflow is at or past the approval activity, new users will not appear as an approver. This is because this process is not designed to update dynamically. The workflow process will need to be reset to include the new users. Solution:- Add user to one of the following: KB owners, KB managers, or ownership group members- Reject current approval on knowledge articles- Republish articles
