This would cause pattern error and duplicates in the cmdb_serial_number table. Discovery logs shows empty result can see that the output for the query on OIDs to fetch serial number.This is due to SNMP device (router or switch) not respond back with valid serial number. Serial number setup is missing on some known network devices."endofmibview" is an SNMP exception thrown when no object instances available which lexicographically follow the object in the request.Ref: https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2576.txt The SNMP tree not properly build and cannot snmpwalk on the OIDs generic in all the environments. As the CI identifier, looks for the serial number and since all these records have same serial number, the same record is being updated instead of creating new records. Add serialNumber to cmdb_serial_number Step 5.15. Add serialNumber to cmdb_serial_number Step 5.19. Add serialNumber to cmdb_serial_number To add the precondition, click on the "Plus" sign -> add below condition $serialNumber Not Contains "endOfMibView" Meet ALL conditions Below is a sample for 5.7, do the same for Step 5.11,5.15,5.19. 6. Save the Pattern with libraries & Publish7. Go to sa_pattern table and look for name= SNMP Identify, click on the related link: Synchronize with Mid server 8. Re-run discovery
