If a Catalog Item is assigned to any Catalog or Category that is linked to the Service Portal, it will appear in both the category browse and search results. Removing the item from all Catalogs and all Categories eliminates these associations and prevents the item from surfacing in those locations, while still allowing direct access via an Order Guide. The simplest way to resolve this issue is setting the Category and the Catalog of this Catalog Item to empty. The "SC Category Page" Widget and the Search result are all based in the Categories/Catalog in the Service Catalog associated with the Portal. Catalog Items with empty Category and empty Catalog (no records in the corresponding related list in the Catalog Item form) will not be showing in the "SC Category Page" Widget and Search Result in OOB.
