When 'Omit Price in Cart' is checked there is no effect on Service Portal


Description

In a Service Portal catalog item, when 'Omit Price in Cart' is checked, there is no effect on the price showing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login as admin user
2. Go to 'Maintain Items'
3. Open a catalog item and set 'Omit Price in Cart' == true
4. Navigate to the service portal /sp
5. Open the catalog item and notice the price is still showing

Workaround

After carefully considering the severity and frequency of this problem, and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or future releases. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologise for any inconvenience.

By current design, when "Omit Price in Cart" is checked, the price is not shown in the cart, but it will still show on the resultant requested item.
