Because the *.* ACL is bypassed, users without the Application Admin role cannot edit fields or create records. This is by design. Application Administration enforces higher security for specific applications by intentionally bypassing global-scope ACLs. Identify the scoped tables in your application that require record creation access.For each table, create a [table_name].* create ACL. After the ACL is created, users can create new records and the fields are no longer read-only.
