The transaction is getting timed out when you are updating a Policy Statement with 4000+ controls due to which few of the controls are not getting updated when you update the Policy Statement.
- Log in to the instance
- Open the Policy statement which has 4000+ controls, Eg: IT22.C.005 Privileged user access is administered, approved, and controls
- Update Type (from Tier 1 to Tier 2 or any other)
- Navigate to related Controls, you will notice few of the records will not get updated.
Issue is happening because the policy statement has 4000+controls, and once the policy statement is updated, there is a Business rule that copies the updated value from policy statement to controls(BR: Cascade Changes). Since the number of controls is large in this case, the quota manager is canceling the transaction as its taking considerable time to update 4000 records. Attaching the update set to make this business rule asynchronous.
