Admin account auditing capabilitiesIssue As part of the compliance audit, admin privilege access was reviewed in the system. The number of admin accounts were reduced in the system. However, Audits for Admin accounts were still being looked into. The change made in the system had to be audited, track the admin user that made the change, and the change which was referenced to do the change. For the same requirement, there is a process in place to record and track the changes required by the system. However, there is a requisite to be able to track and report the changes made in the system at data and configuration level by the admin users.ResolutionAuditing capabilities available in the system currently are sys_update_xml table which captures configuration changes and the audit history on the data changes depending on which tables were enabled for auditing purposes. The auditing features available in the system are currently for technical purposes only. For a custom implementation to achieve auditing / reporting from a non-technical users perspective we would recommend engaging ServiceNow Professional Services or a ServiceNow Partner
