How to view database footprint of an instance on Now SupportDetailsThere are two automated workflows that will help you view the database footprint of your instance. Instructions for both can be found below. The following options are both automated workflows to request the database footprint of one or more instances via Service Catalogs and are completed using end-to-end automation: Instance Database FootprintCustomers can view the total space occupied by one instance along with up to the top 100 tables that contribute to the occupied space.Cloud Usage RequestCustomers can view the total space occupied by all instances on account level, presented as a list. Additional information and steps for each can be found below. 1. Instance Database Footprint Notes: This automation currently doesn't report on Shards You can view Instance Database Footprint by following these steps: Navigate to the Now SupportBrowse the Automation StoreUnder Instance Management, select Database FootprintSelect the instance for which you need Database information forSelect the number of tables (Between 10 - 100) you would like to include in the results(Selecting more tables will take more time to fetch results.)Click on SubmitOn the next page, you will see database details along with the number of top tables selected in the previous step which are occupying most of the database space. The result set will contain details for both Primary and Standby DB (if configured). 2. Cloud Usage Request You can view Cloud Usage Request by following these steps: Navigate to the Now SupportSwitch to the Company you want to generate the report forBrowse the Automation StoreUnder Request Items, select Cloud usage request Additional InformationOnly users with the customer_admin or partner_admin roles on Now Support can utilize these catalogs on Now Support. NOTE: Currently, this process only supports ServiceNow hosted instances running on MySQL Database.
