Error message "WARNING: Skipping removing S-1-5-21-1856981491-1289959885-1925079578-1157 : S" observed on the MID server post upgrade to OrlandoDescriptionPost Upgrade to Orlando, the below error message is observed under the "Mid Server Issues" tab on the MID Server Error message "WARNING: Skipping removing S-1-5-21-1856981491-1289959885-1925079578-1157 : S" Release or EnvironmentOrlandoCauseIn Orlando, a process was added to MID startup that would lock down the file permissions of the agent folder. The goal was to remove unnecessary access to the folder, so random users would have access, and be able to mess with the MID server files. Goal of the process is to remove access from users other than the following:a) Local Systemb) Administrators Groupc) The log on user for mid server serviced) Users listed in the inclusion list property, mid.windows_host.file_permissions.allow_list.There is a chance that the user the MID is running as doesn't have permissions to remove the ACLs for people that aren't in this group. If this is the case, it will return the warning that we see above. It does not actually impact the running of the MID, hence we see "Warning" at the beginning of the issue message, and not an "Error:".ResolutionThe resolution here would be to set the MidServer Issue to "Resolved" manually and the warning message would not be seen anymore. On the next restart of the mid server, this warning will no longer be present unless ACLs for the agent folder are adjusted manually. The MID Server issue seen is just a warning and won't impact the actual functionality of the MIDAdditional InformationBy default, the agent directory access is only given to: SYSTEMBuiltin/Administrators (local Administrators)If applicable, the specific user running the MID Server Windows service ("Log on as" user)
