When an update set is committed, the instance performs a full cache flush. Transactions that run immediately after the commitment cannot pull data from the cache and are instead used to rebuild the cache across the instance. This causes those transactions to run slower the first time they are processed. Users may experience slow response times, delayed page loads, and degraded performance across all applications — such as slow querying or switching between modules — until the cache is fully rebuilt. This behavior occurs all of a sudden, lasts for a period of time, and then performance returns to normal once the cache is reconstructed.
