After upgrading to New York the Service Offering field is missing for non-admin usersDescriptionAfter the New York upgrade, the non-admins users are not able to see the Service Offering field such as service_offering on the task table. Before New York, all the users can see this field.Release or EnvironmentNew YorkCauseIn New York, two new read ACLs on 'service_offering' and 'service_offering.name' were added with the role 'service_viewer' and 'catalog_admin'. Only the users with these roles can access the Service Offering field on task(incident) table. From New York patch 3, the role 'cmdb_read' role was also added to the ACLs to provide access to the ITIL users as part of the problem - PRB1366970.
