SAMP Office 365: Microsoft subscription offerings renamed for product Visio Online and Project Online Description Microsoft has recently renamed their subscription offerings for product "Visio Online" and "Project Online". So, when Microsoft Office 365 subscription data is imported, it is linked to the old software model names.

Microsoft has renamed Visio Online as:

"Microsoft Visio Online Professional" to "Microsoft Visio online plan 2 " "Microsoft Visio Online" to "Microsoft Visio online plan 1 " Microsoft's blog shows the new names Here

And similarly "Project Online":

"Project Online Professional" to "Project Plan 3" "Project Online Premium" to "Project Plan 5" Microsoft's blog shows the new names Here

Steps to Reproduce

Install Software Asset Management Professional plugin Install Microsoft Office 365 content pack plugin Set up Microsoft Office 365 Cloud License Management Import Subscriptions using the weekly scheduled Job Software Models created for a Visio Online or Project online will have the old names.

Workaround This problem is currently under review and has no workarounds. You can contact ServiceNow Technical Support or subscribe to this Known Error article by clicking the Subscribe button at the top right of this form to be notified when more information will become available. We cannot change the PPN directly as it has downstream impacts on the subscription records, software models and will affect other related transactions which reference the product name. Based on our analysis on the extent of the impact, we have determined the best path is to work on a resolution through a problem record.

In the meantime, even though the product name has changed, SAMP will continue to report license usage accurately and perform reclamation to drive savings for your business.
