Is it possible to set Timezone source to a dynamic value of a SLA Definition Schedule source?DescriptionThe user had a use case where they needed SLA calculations to be based on two different time zones simultaneously. The user wanted to know if they could dynamically set the value of the Timezone source field to allow this use-case.ResolutionHere is the user's justification for needing a dynamic value in the "Timezone source" field of SLA Definitions: If the user chooses a CI's schedule (via dot-walking the "Schedule source" field to "Configuration Item.Schedule") with time zone 'A', and then the user sets the Timezone source field to "CI location's time zone", these may not always align (the CI's schedule's TZ and the CI's location's TZ may not be the same - e.g. a CI schedule in Hong Kong TZ, with a CI's location in US/Eastern time). The user wanted to know, therefore, if it was possible to dynamically set the "Timezone source" field. Unfortunately, at this time, no such functionality exists in the Platform. As this is a very simple and reasonable use-case, Support has created FTASK47314 to petition for such functionality to be in the Platform.
