Employee Document does not create any "Employee Document Audit Trail" record when the document is downloaded from list view - Known Error

Employee Document does not create any "Employee Document Audit Trail" record when the document is downloaded from list view Description Employee Documents do not create any "Employee Document Audit Trail" record when a document is downloaded from list view.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to HR Profile > Employee Documents > Search Documents. 2. Click on the preview (i) icon. 3. Click the attachment on the preview pop up [download initiated]. 4. Click 'Open Record' on the preview pop up. Note that no "Employee Document Audit Trail" is created for the download. 5. Download the attachment through the form. In that case the "Employee Document Audit Trail" is created.

Workaround Due to platform design limitations, no sort of audit records can be created on a document download by the preview modal.

After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or future releases. We do not make this decision lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
