A Mandatory 'Template Value' type field does not properly check the mandatory asterisk on a Form Section tab upon Form Load. Apparent in the std_change_proposal form Description KNOWN BUILDS: Jakarta Patch 9 London Patch 2

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A Mandatory 'Template Value' type field does not properly check the mandatory asterisk on a Form Section tab upon Form Load. This is apparent in the std_change_proposal form.

In order to remove the Mandatory asterisk from the tab, another field must be modified for the check to properly occur.

Steps to Reproduce

In London Patch 2 instance: 1. std_change_proposal.do 2. Notice the Mandatory asterisk on the Change Request values tab. 3. Type a value in the Short Descrption and see the Mandatory asterisk on the Change Request values tab go away

4. Submit the record 5. Open the newly created record and see that the Mandatory asterisk is still present on the Change Request values tab

Expected Behavior: The Mandatory asterisk should not be present if the Mandatory requirements have been met

Workaround After carefully considering the severity and frequency of this problem, and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or future releases.
