Agent Workspace - How to set Work Notes the default input option on ActivityDescriptionIn Agent workspace, 'Additional Comments' is visible as default input option on form load and user need to select 'Work Notes' from dropdown manually. With the current functionality of workspace, users cannot have both 'WorkNotes' and 'Comments' visible on the workspace form at a time, Agent workspace can provide either 'Work notes' or 'Additional Comments' to show as default input option on form load. If the user needs to select the other one it should be done manually from the dropdown. ResolutionTo set 'Work Notes' to be visible on workspace form onLoad follow below steps Open any data record in Platform interface (eg. Incident form)Go to Configure > Form LayoutSwitch 'viewname' to 'workspace'If the slush-bucket page in read-only ( Click on 'Edit this section' in ITSM Workspace)Go to 'Notes' sectionIn 'Selected' block, move the position of 'Work Notes' above 'Additional Comments'Save the layout.In Agent Workspace Incident form will now load the record with default input as 'Work notes' Note: After this configuration, 'Additional Comments' will be selected manually and this configuration change applies for all users.
