High Priority Event Processing -- Event Queue Has Very High Number of Queued EventsIssue There are a high number of queue events in the instance. The instance does not appear to be under any stress, Semaphores and/or Workers are not in high demand.ResolutionIn the Navigator, Go to "Today's Scheduled Jobs",Search on Name and type "events process 0" then press enter. See a list of "events process 0" jobs that number matches the total number of active nodes + 1. if there is an 8 node instance the count of events process 0's should be 9. One parent and eight children, if there is a short on schedulers add them in order to spread the events across all of the active nodes. The first step is to open a duplicate window, on the new window click on the "New" button, going back to the list of schedulers on the previous screen that we used to make a duplicate we need to open one of the current "events process 0" schedulers. Next you should now see a screen similar to the one below, we need to copy the information from one of the current schedulers to the new one on the duplicate page. Make sure that the parent is blank and the system ID is "active nodes". Do not hit save or execute yet, we need to delete the old schedulers. Once you have copied the information from the old scheduler to the new one you need to delete the old "events process 0" schedulers. Click on the box on the left on the objects labeled events process 0, then click on the button below that states "Actions on selected rows", then click delete. Now go back to the window with the New events process 0 scheduler that should look similar to the graphic below and click save. if you go back to "Today's Scheduled Jobs", from there, search on Name and type "event process 0" then press enter. You will now see all of the new events process 0 schedulers, the number will equal 1 for each node plus one. So if you have a 10 node instance, eleven schedulers will be created. Now you can check the queue and monitor it while the queued events catch up on your instance.
