The users are not able to view the documents even thought the Document Viewer plugin is installed.Issue Symptoms Even after installing the Document Viewer plugin, the attachments are downloading instead of opening in the platform by clicking on View. Release Madrid Cause To fully enable the Document viewer feature, the users must configure it at the table level in order to view the documents attached to the records in that table. If the Document viewer is not configured at the table, the attachments cannot be viewed. Resolution The resolution for the issue is to configure the document viewer at the table level by following the below steps: i)Navigate to System Definition → Dictionary. ii)Open the desired table record with type Collection. iii)Click New under the Attributes tab. iv)Enter 'Use Document Viewer' in the Attribute field and 'true' in the Value field. v)Click Submit. Additional Information Note that the Document viewer feature supports only for pdf type files in Madrid. The support for document viewer for other types of files will be added from New York release.
