Typeahead Search Results are returned but are shown as blank in dropdown with no text and are not-clickable Issue _ � _ � _  Symptoms When you enter a word in Typeahead Search widget in portal, the dropdown is shown but with no text and blank results.

Cause The Typeahead Search widget uses templates from Search Source if the "Advanced typeahead config" is checked in the corresponding Search Source.

Line 38-40 Server Script of Typeahead Search Widget:

sourceTemplateConfiguration.type = "ADVANCED"; sourceTemplateConfiguration.template = "sp-typeahead-" + source.id + ".html";

The issue can occur if the "Advanced typeahead config" is checked in the corresponding Search Source, but do not have any Typeahead template defined.

Resolution To resolve the issue, either uncheck the "Advanced typeahead config" checkbox in the corresponding Search Source or add a template to show the result in the search dropdown.
