Adding a Software Entitlement does not allow you to select from the list of available Software ModelsIssue <!-- div.margin { padding: 10px 40px 40px 30px; } table.tocTable { border: 1px solid; border-color: #e0e0e0; background-color: #fff; } .title { color: #d1232b; font-weight: normal; font-size: 28px; } h1 { color: #d1232b; font-weight: normal; font-size: 21px; margin-bottom: 5px; border-bottom-width: 2px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #cccccc; } h2 { color: #646464; font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px; } h3 { color: #000000; font-weight: bold; font-size: 16px; } h4 { color: #666666; font-weight: bold; font-size: 15px; } h5 { color: #000000; font-weight: bold; font-size: 13px; } h6 { color: #000000; font-weight: bold; font-size:14px; } ul, ol { margin-left: 0; list-style-position: outside; } --> Symptoms When attempting to add a Software Entitlement, the selection for Software Model does not give any available software models that are referenced from the cmdb_software_product_model table. It just comes up empty. Release All Cause Normally this would not be an issue, however if the customer decides to delete all of the current software models in cmdb_software_product_model and create their own, there is a chance that they will neglect to create a category in cmdb_model_category. If the models that they create reference a category that does not exist in that table, the lookup will fail for that item. If every item left in the cmdb_software_product_model table is referencing a non existent category, the list pulled up during record creation in Software entitlements will be blank Resolution Navigate to cmdb_model_category.LISTAdd the missing categories to the table
