Cmdb_ci field is restricted on the Defect table for some usersIssue <!-- div.margin { padding: 10px 40px 40px 30px; } table.tocTable { border: 1px solid; border-color: #e0e0e0; background-color: #fff; } .title { color: #d1232b; font-weight: normal; font-size: 28px; } h1 { color: #d1232b; font-weight: normal; font-size: 21px; margin-bottom: 5px; border-bottom-width: 2px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #cccccc; } h2 { color: #646464; font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px; } h3 { color: #000000; font-weight: bold; font-size: 16px; } h4 { color: #666666; font-weight: bold; font-size: 15px; } h5 { color: #000000; font-weight: bold; font-size: 13px; } h6 { color: #000000; font-weight: bold; font-size:14px; } ul, ol { margin-left: 0; list-style-position: outside; } --> Symptoms Some users who have access to the Defect table will not have access to view the Configuration Item field on any records. Cause Users with the feature_user role can see only the Defects and Enhancements modules in the SDLC Scrum Process application. The feature_user role does not grant any scrum privileges to users. The feature_user role is part of the Agile Development plugin which can be activated after the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) plugin is activated. Only the Defect table has an ACL for the cmdb_ci write, however there are other ACLs that are dependent on the feature_role user on the Defect and Enhancement table. Resolution As these ACLs are from the Agile Development plugin, an admin can customize the ACLs that correspond to the SDLC ACLs.
