Servicenow Store App installationDescriptionHaving trouble installing applications in your instance? Request apps from the ServiceNow App Store and follow the directions received in your email shortly after. If you still do not see the app in your instance after following this process, please contact the app vendor via the page where you request the app.ResolutionTo begin, log in to the ServiceNow Store and request an app that you want to install. These apps could be free, paid, or trial versions. Once the app is requested, you will receive instructions via email. An example email is below. Hi, This email is to inform you that your request for app installation has been approved. Please refer this link for the installation instructions. Here are the details of your request. Date of Request: <date> Application Name: <app_name> Application Version: <version#> Vendor Name: <vendor_name> Instance Name: <name of your instance> Thank you, ServiceNow Store Team The email will also point you to the Installation Overview documentation. The steps from this page are additionally provided below. Steps to install a ServiceNow application Ensure the application has been given entitlement by following the steps in the email you received after requesting the application via the ServiceNow Store.Navigate to System Applications > All Available Applications > All. For Orlando customers and above, skip to step 6.Search for the dependencies plugin for the application you want to activate. For example, if you are activating Security Incident Response, locate the Security Incident Response Dependencies plugin.Click Install. The Activate Plugin dialog box appears.In the Activate Plugin dialog box, click Activate.When the activation is complete, click Close & Reload Form.Now locate the core product you are activating, click the Install with demo data checkbox if you want to load demo data, and click Install. After following the above steps, your application is automatically installed on your instance. Note: If you do not select the Install with demo data checkbox, demo data is not available to install from the Application Manager later. For Paris and later releases, you will be able to reinstall with demo data. Third-party applications Even after requesting the app as described in the above process, if you do not see your app in your instance, please check with the app vendor.
