Planned start dates on project task are not recalculating as expected for certain projectsIssue The Project Task form includes a Time Constraint field, which can be either of these values: Start ASAP or Start on a specific date So when kept, Start ASAP, it is not recalculating and showing wrong dates as per dependencies. CauseIt totally depends upon the projects and how they are configured. If the parent task has a specific start date, then all of the tasks underneath it are meant to start on the same date and not change. However, because there is a dependency, this is causing a problem.ResolutionTo resolve this issue, remove dependency, run a project diagnosis and recalculate the project dates. Once dependency is removed observe the project diagnostics will function correctly and the project dates will now be accurate. The recommendation would be to review the dependency and configure the project accordingly to prevent encountering a similar issue in the future.Related LinksProject task dependencies Project task relationships and dependencies
