Name search within HR Service Delivery is inconsistent Description Name search within the HR Service Delivery is inconsistent and not returning expected results.

This can occur with users that have similar names.

Global search performs consistently because results use multiple combinations of a name.

Steps to Reproduce

Activate Human Resource Scoped App: Core plugin Create a new user with the following: User Id: Utest-bug First Name: Sho Rt LastName: Nam Ete st Navigate to sn_hr_core_config_case_creation.list and open the record there. Make sure the sn_hr_core_case record has the field "Force partial search" checked true. Navigate to HR Case Managment > Create New Case Search for: Utest-bug ----> No results Utest- ------> No results Utest ------> Does bring a result Sho ----> No results Sho R ----> No results Sho RT ------> Does bring a result

Try the same in global search and notice the difference. Workaround This is working as designed.

The behavior comes from a mix of Zing text search and case creation configuration.

If you want the search on the Create New Case page to work the same as Global Search, then try testing with the Force partial search field unchecked (set to false) on Case Creation Configuration under HR Administration.
