PA dashboard display value shows the sys_id of a deleted element no longer existing Description When a breakdown element is deleted, a breakdown dashboard will show the sys_id of that element where ever it is used in the dashboard.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a dashboard. 2. Add a PA widget to dashboard. Make sure that the value for "label" is empty for the pa_widget record. 3. Add related breakdown source to dashboard. 4. Apply a breakdown element. 5. Delete the selected element from another tab. 6. Refresh the dashboard. The display value shows the sys_id of the deleted element, and the filter is not removed on deletion of the element.

Workaround After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make this decision lightly, and we apologise for any inconvenience.

If the breakdown element is being used as a filter, reset the user preference that persists the filter as a workaround. This can be done by manually modifying the value of the com.snc.pa.ui.preferences_dashboards user preference, or by setting a different breakdown element value on the dashboard.
