Error 'Could not initialize class sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment' when trying to export a list of incidents to Excel (.xlsx) file Issue  Symptoms Navigate to a List View

Right Click on context menu > Export > Excel (.xlsx)

Export Complete dialog box appears with the Download button

Click Download button and error 'Requested attachment does not exist' appears "Could not initialize class sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment: java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method)" error is shown in the system log Exporting to other formats such as CSV and PDF works fine Cause This error has usually been encountered with implementations that are On-Premise when the appropriate libraries are installed however not loaded by the Operating system properly.

Resolution

To allow the Operating system to load the appropriate Profiles and libraries:

Restart each node to resolve the issue

Note : Ensure users on the affected Node are adequately informed as they might be asked to relogin
