Receiving error "Character reference '' is an invalid XML character." when trying to load a Knowledge articleIssue When trying to load a Knowledge article either through the global search or a direct URL (e.g. a permalink), an error is received which says: "Character reference '' is an invalid XML character." ReleaseLondon Patch 4, Hot Fix 2CauseThe reason the behavior is seen is that the user has an associated Knowledge Feedback record with ASCII in the Short Description which is unable to be rendered by the system ("").ResolutionAs per the above, the reason the behavior is faced is that the user has some un-renderable ASCII in the Short Description of their related Knowledge Feedback record.Here is the offending text in the Knowledge Feedback record: If the caller confirms a Stark Industries account issue (such as no Stark Industries account present or that they were refused by the Stark Industries hotline), directly contact Pepper Potts in HR for more help.(HR: Inter:321500, Ext:650-150-2287 ; Email: HR@starkindustries.com) Within the "Ext" portion, we see the issue, per the logs:Error here:Ext:650-150-2287<br/>Email: HR@starkindustries</g2:no_escape></div></div>When we remove the Short Description from the Knowledge Feedback record, the error is no longer seen and the Knowledge article is viewable per the user's expectation.
