For example, Domain A contains Domain B. Domain B contains Domain C. Domain C is implicitly a descendant of Domain A. There is no need to add an entry for Domain A contains Domain C.

Effect Redundant Domain Contains entries can cause unnecessary processing delays and consume extra memory. Corrective Action Remove redundant Domain Contains entries:

Log onto your instance. Navigate to Domain Separation Center. Select the Errors widget. Open the Domain Contains Redundancy audit record. View each record in the Details list on the right in list view. Confirm that the record is redundant (that it describes a containership already represented elsewhere in the table), and if so, remove that record from the table.
