How to setup language translation on core_company table field Issue  Description This article will brief on how to setup language translation for the core_company table which was not having any translation field provided out of the box.

Procedure The name field of the core_company table can be set as translated field via below steps,

Log on to the instance Navigate to "System Definition=>Dictionary" And filter for Table = core_company & Column name = name Open the name field dictionary record of core_company table Change the type from "string" to "Translated tex" as shown in the below screenshot,

After this dictionary change, when you update the name field of the core_company table in different language session, the system will make corresponding translation entries in sys_translated_text table.

Likewise, you can set up different translated fields on any tables / fields.
