Field on form is not visible even though it is added to the form layout



A field on a form is not visible. If you right click the form header and select Configure > Form Layout, the field does appear in the Selected slushbucket, but is still not visible on the form.


All supported releases



There is likely a client script or ui policy on the form that is hiding the field.


1) Right click the form header and choose Configure > All

2) Look in the Client Scripts tab for all active client scripts, find the script(s) that might affect the hidden field 

3) You may also want to look at the UI Policies tab to see which policies may be hiding the field 

4) Disable any suspected client scripts and ui policies by unchecking the active flag and saving the record

5) Reload the form and verify the field is no longer hidden
