"Enter date in format MMM-DD-YYYY HH:mm:ss z" message on Service Portal Issue  An admin user set the time format as HH:mm:ss z on the instance level via the system property, glide.sys.time_format. However, the date and time validation on the Service Portal fails with catalog item, as shown in the following image, although the date is entered in the correct format.

Due to this, the user is unable to submit the catalog page on the Service Portal.

Release Any supported release.

Cause Time format should be set to HH:mm:ss according to the Global date and time field format documentation.

Resolution Set the system property glide.sys.time_format to HH:mm:ss instead of HH:mm:ss z .
