Navigate to System UI > View Rules and select New. 2. Populate the fields as follows: Table: Select the target table. Device type: Select Browser. Advanced: Check this box to enable the script field, which allows conditional logic based on whether the record is displayed as a list or a form. Script: Enter the following script. The `is_list` variable is `true` when the system renders a list. Setting `answer` to the desired view name when `is_list` is `true` applies the view to the list only. The `is_list` variable is built into the view rule script context — when it is `true`, the system is rendering a list rather than a form, so the `answer` variable can be set conditionally to the desired view name only when on a list. 3. Save the record.
