How to limit the Configuration Class choices within the "Add Affected Configuration Items" popup form that comes up on Affected CI related list Issue  Symptoms The Configuration Class choices (or records that show when the lookup icon is clicked) that show up on the "Add Affected Configuration Items" popup form that comes up on the Affected CI related list via the Add button show all configuration classes in the system.

Cause This is expected behavior that the list shows all the configuration classes found in the instance.

Resolution Unfortunately, this is no out-of-box way to modify this list to filter to only show specific configuration classes as the query itself is hard-coded in the backend system.
