Using versioning function on KB-articles more than one version is published - Support and Troubleshooting

Using versioning function on KB-articles more than one version is published Issue  More than one version of a KB-article is in the Workflow state Published.

When new version of article is Published the previous version workflow should be in Outdated. However, The workflow of previous version example 2.0 is still in Published (In progress).

Cause On articles in Workflow state = Outdated, the button Edit is visible in the Knowledge View page and the Publish button is visible on the form

Resolution Reverting "Publish" UI action to OOB fixed the issue, publish was no longer available on outdated article hence the issue was avoided/fixed.
