Go to the Audit trail history of that record. Was there any change to the sys_id?</span><span style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #2e2e2e; line-height: 1.5em;"> </span></span></div> <ul style="list-style-position: inside;"><li style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 13px; margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1em;">It should list a change of the sys_id and by who and perhaps someone may have deleted this record. Or possibly during the asset creation phase, an invalid CI - sys_id was added. Also a good place to investigate this issue would be in the delete history.</li></ul> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 13px; margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1em;"><span style="color: #2e2e2e; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 1.5em;">If there is a sys_id that is either from the asset or CI record stand point that needs to be linked, you can create a script to tie in these together. </span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 13px; margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1em;"><span style="color: #2e2e2e; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 1.5em;">Or start from scratch with creating a new Asset with a CI.</span></div></section></div></article></div>
