Only one user can own a report at a time, so other users cannot view or manage the report in the My Reports section until ownership is reassigned.

For example, if User A creates a report, only User A can view it under My Reports in the View / Run module. If User A leaves the organization, User B cannot access or take ownership of the report without an admin updating the report record.

Log in to the instance as a user with the admin role. Go to System Definition > Scripts - Background . Update the sys_id values in the following script to match your report and the new owner, then run the script. var gr=new GlideRecord('sys_report');

To find the required sys_id values:

Report sys_id : Open the Report [sys_report] table and locate the report record. User sys_id : Open the User [sys_user] table and locate the new owner's record.
