Unable to Cell Edit in List v3 a field set to read-only via UI Policy ActionDescriptionSetting a field to read-only on a form view via UI Policy Action also affects the list view in List v3. If a user tries to cell edit the field gets the error: "Security prevents writing to this field".Steps to Reproduce 1. Login an instance with List V3 enabled.2. Navigate to System UI > UI Policies and select New to create a new policy as follows: table: incident short description: set field to read-only condition: Priority, is, 4-Low3. Submit this new record.4. Return to this policy and scroll down to Related List "UI Policy Actions".5. Create a new UI Policy Action as follows: field name: Contact type read only: true6. Submit this new record.7. Navigate to incident.list.8. Ensure via List Layout the 'contact type' field is displayed as a column on the list.9. Filter the list or find a record where 'priority is 4-low'.10. Try to cell edit (double-click) the Contact Type cell. Observe the error: "Security message prevents writing to the field".WorkaroundDisable List V3 and run the test steps, you can then cell-edit the field on the list.List v3 is now deprecated and no longer supported. We advise using List v2 and not activating the List v3 plugin. A more performant and feature complete solution is under development a new list component has been introduced in limited form with the Agent Workspace in London.Related Problem: PRB1315206
