Discovery patterns failing with message "Failed to find library by name: >" Issue  Symptoms While running horizontal discovery, certain patterns may fail with the message:

"Failed to find library by name: >"

Cause The above mentioned error is thrown, when the pattern that is executing while running discovery, is failing to find a certain library which is a part of that pattern.

The name of pattern libraries are hard-coded in the code, and if the name these libraries are changed from their out of the box values, the pattern execution cannot pick these up.

Resolution Go to https://instance.service-now.com/sa_pattern.do?sys_id= >

Revert back any changes made to the name of pattern library to out of the box value
