Users are not able to type the special character ' (apostrophe) after @mentions in task comments or work notes Description When intended to mention another user with the apostrophe ' in the username using @mentions, the user will not be able to type the special character ' after @.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Login as system administrator.

2) Navigate to sys_user.LIST.

3) Create a new user with the following details: User ID: O'neil.test First name: O'neil Last name:test

3) Navigate to an incident form.

4) Try to type the characters - @O' in the comments or work notes. Notice it is not possible to type ' after @O.

Workaround After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

As a workaround, click on any area other than the @mentioned part, go back to the mention and try again after the initial list disappears, the character will be entered the second time.
