Mandatory Data Policies can result in failed inserts Issue  Overview This KB details an expected behavior which initially appears as an issue when an insert appears to have failed when inserting a record via a script or some integration. If a mandatory data policy is to found to be in existence on a table where inserts are failing this is most likely because the script or integration method does not populate the mandatory field that is required on the form for that particular table.

Resolution To resolve this issue simply disable the mandatory policy or ensure that the script/integration invoking the insert is populating the field on the form which has the mandatory policy in place.
