Substate field on list view of Harware (alm_hardware) or Asset (alm_asset) is showing the choice value instead of label Issue  Symptoms When the Substate field is viewed on the list view of Harware (alm_hardware) list or Asset (alm_asset) list the data is displaying the value instead of its label (i.e. available instead of Available).

Release All releases

Cause Cause by one or more choices being created in alm_hardware (or any table that extends from alm_asset).

Resolution 1) Navigate to the following URL to identify any choices that were created in alm_hardware:

/sys_choice_list.do?sysparm_query=nameINjavascript%3AgetTableExtensions('alm_asset')%5Eelement%3Dsubstatus%5Ename%3Dalm_hardware&sysparm_list_mode=grid

2) Delete these records

*Please note that after deleting these records similar choices might need to be created in alm_asset to replace the deleted ones. In that case go back to the records that were referencing the deleted choices and update them to the new choices.
